MBL
MBL was a rebuild and rebranding of a drupal 7 site. Leveraging the new features available in D9, layout builder was implemented to allow flexible layouts and node creation. Multiple views were created for filtering various content types as well as the MBL's scientists directory.
I was charged with building the layout builder and various views used on the site, this encompassed all HTML, CSS and Javascript involved as well as all backend configuration in Drupal, preprocessing and custom theming.
The site is responsive, built mobile first, based on designs built in Invision. I tested the various pages against Googles Lighthouse and Axe Devtools to check that the site met AA accessability requirements.
Views
MBL has a large directory of employees, both on campus and off. Views were created to filter against hidden contextual filters as well as allowing the user to filter based on more specific parameters
